Help count Forever
The census only knows what scanners see. Every realm, faction and time of day you cover makes the numbers better for everyone. It takes a few minutes while you stand in town.
Install the addon
Unzip it into the Interface\AddOns folder of your WoW Forever install and enable Arqen Census at character select.
Get your key and the uploader
Request a key below. Then run the uploader, a small Windows app that sends your scans on its own after you log out or /reload. Paste your key once; it starts with Windows from then on.

Press scan
Bind a key with /census key F8. Press it when you hear the click. A quick scan is about 25 presses, 2 to 3 minutes.
Is it safe?
Yes. Here is exactly what runs on your computer.
- One key press, one /who query. The game only allows /who from a real key press, and the addon never tries to get around that. No macros, no automation, nothing outside the game clicks for you.
- Only Blizzard's own addon API. The addon uses the same /who you can type yourself, just in small slices so no answer gets cut off at 50.
- Your guild list counts too. The addon reads your own guild roster at login and every five minutes, the same list you see in the guild window. No key presses needed for that part.
- The uploader only reads one file. It watches
ArqenCensus.luain your SavedVariables folder and never touches the game itself. - Names are never stored. Characters are counted by a one-way hash. The site only shows totals.
